Hi everyone! Just wanna ask for any advice or opinion on where to get the required vaccines/immunization. Can I also get those through civil surgeon or just get it in public health centers?

Hi,

if you are not time constrained, the best thing is to go to the Civil Surgeon first, so he/she can tell you what are the things you would need besides the physical exam. Then, with that list, you do what you think more convenient; in my case, that was coming back to my university health services and getting one vaccine and several blood titers, and also the TB blood test, all for free. Then you go back to the Civil Surgeon with proof of all of this, and you get the signed form while at the same time spending the fewest possible money.

If you are more time constrained, you might wanna search on this forum a little bit to get an idea of what are the things that are usually required and what is not (a lot of things on the form are not required because they are age-specific, because of the time of the year, etc), and try to get them in advance. I did that. But even after trying to have everything under control, I still had to go back to health services to get a couple of more things, so...

Best,

Franciscus

Thanks for the advice Franciscus. I might just do that, i just made some few calls in some civil surgeons in our area and asked them about it, its freaking expensive!!! lol

I called like 5 until I found one that said the physical was "only" 100, and went for that. Most of them wouldn't even quote a price that did not include the TB test and other exams.
