Wow and again, your mouth tells it all about you. Just because you let someone in college does not mean they will pass, or not drop out. Hard working, dedicated people go through college without dropping out and having determination that they want to do something better for themselves. Second, you must really do not know anything about college, you can't get a degree with Ds and Fs only A,B,Cs dude. And you can say you have a problem with someone making a C, but BUSH made a C in economics and people voted him in to run the freaking U.S.

This type of reasoning reminds me of those welfare people that think their money comes from Obama, not from other people's taxes.

First and foremost, any "shot" you give someone is a chance taken from somebody who was harder worker and better. Hard working dedicated people work hard through highschool too, and have good grades and high SAT scores. Why are they looked over to offer a shot to someone who might so better? Just because they are white (or Asians too, it seems).

You are so quick to discard the people who didnt get in, despite having more shots at actually finishing the college because their history and study ethics show that they have what it takes.

I know what it is like to teach in an university with lowered standards, first hand.

You may want to cook mac and cheese but when 80% of your students dont know what milk is, you really cant. And the few who would have benefited from true higher education are held back by the majority.

Secondly, if the college makes everyone reach the same level, why are there preferences when it comes to getting a job?

You should read a person's profile before you assume their age.

I have reached my decision, and I believe that this whole post must be a joke. I cannot imagine how closed minded, self center, selfish and arrogant just one person can be. This has to be a joke to see what people's responses would be. I just refuse to believe you are a human being with this type of thought process. I bet you played in x-files.

Look around you, we all put people in categories. You have no one around you that you think is smarter than you? You dont think you are more caring than someone? You are judging me in your post, yet claim you dont do the same?

"Closed minded, self center, selfish and arrogant" people should be your equals, no - that's what you said, that we should all be equals. A doctor shouldn't make more money than the cleaning lady, right?

There is nothing more monstrous than the idea that all people are equal, miss Procrustes.
