You realise that there will be a long wait with that path?

It will take you forever (~5 years if I am not mistaken) to bring your wife to the US as a LPR. If you have been dating for a while and wanna get married, do it before the interview. That way she can go with you when you go. You will have to email/call the Embassy to notify them of that. You might have to send updated papers to Kentucky and have proof of a bona fide relationship for the interview.

Is there any problem or will be any problem during my wife interview or any thing related to this issue

You will have to prove a bona fide relationship, meaning you have to prove you did not get married so she gets a green card.

You should have proof of a prior relationship like pictures (with family and friends as well, also from the wedding), trips taken together, letters, emails, phone call logs. Skype, Facebook, Google Talk, whatever you use to communicate.

If you have lived together, then proof of that, like a lease with both names on it, maybe a bank loan for a car you two own, bills that are coming to both of your names or bills coming to the same address.

People often get married after they win a green card. That is fine, as long as they are not doing it for the green card, in that case it is visa fraud.

Congrats on the winning btw, I was not that lucky. ;)

I know all about this what I am asking is it okey to get married after issuance of the visa but before admitted to USA

I heard that if I go to USA with visa single and I am already married the time of my wife interview the will refuse her visa and take my green card and send me home,

Is it right what they say ????

With all due respect, that is not what you asked in the last post.

Also, I already answered your question in my first reply. Please reread my answer about getting married before the interview.

It is no rpoblem getting married after you get your visa, but your wife will have to wait till she gets her visa before moving to the US.

But my question was not how to prove your marriage but the fact of bing married after ur DV visa issued but befor travelling to the US

I feel we are running in circles here. As I said already:

It will take you forever (~5 years if I am not mistaken) to bring your wife to the US as a LPR. If you have been dating for a while and wanna get married, do it before the interview. That way she can go with you when you go. You will have to email/call the Embassy to notify them of that. You might have to send updated papers to Kentucky and have proof of a bona fide relationship for the interview.

In other words:

She can NOT get a visa through your DV-2014 after your interview. If you want her to go with you via your lottery, you need to get married before the interview.

If you want to go to the US first and then petition as LPR (legal permanent resident), that will take years.

I know that ,I know every step that coming later on but what I found is that the day of the spouse interview the CO will not accept the fact that I married after the visa but befor travelling to the US ,that's what I find out is it true ?

What do you mean "after the visa"?

After you applied for DV-2014 as single? Not a problem.

After you passed your interview and they issued a visa? Not possible.

Thank you so much for ur time

May be we you misunderstand me me and my future wife know about the duration and the process if we get married after I get DV visa and before going to US ALOne we know that

What we don't know is the fact of "marriage" gonna cause any kind of problem the day when she will have her interview ( after I will go to US with visa single) and I will apply for her through normal processing

I heard in many forums if you get married after you get your visa and you went to the US with the visa that they issued for u as single this they will consider it as misrepresentation or lying to the government ,is it right ??

Sorry for the confusion

Okay, so let's see if I got this.

1. You have a girlfriend.

2. You won the lottery.

3. You want to marry her between your interview and the flight to the US.

4. Then after you come to the US, you want to petition for her as LPR.

Please correct if any of this is not true?
