This past thursday I received the following email from USCIS:

"Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity
On June 20, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). ........."

The very next day I get this:

"Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Your Case Status: Initial Review
On June 21, 2013, your address was changed relating to the I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) that you filed."

Now sometime last week I did an online address change as I am no longer at the address when I filed. We got the NOA1 in the first week of March, so it seems a little early to get approval (just over 100 days) but I've read all the other stories about quicker processing times as of late. I just don't understand how it could go back to initial review after it has been approved.

Has anyone else had this happen?

EDIT: We sent our application to the California service center.

We are waiting for my husbands AOS to be approved -. He received his EAD and AP card back in november 2012 - the status for those 2 applications went from card production (he has had the card for 8 months now) to initial review when we sent in a change of address in May. So it could be that you got the approval and then the change of address was processed which changed the status on the website back to review. You will get a hard copy in the mail if you got approved. You will also get a letter for the change of address

Spoke to USCIS this morning. They said we were approved but that it is just some glitch with the online status checker. The guy said that in thier "mainframe server" our case was shown as appoved and it will be moving forward!!!!!

So good news, I'm just hoping that this won't cause other administrative hangups. As to me it seems to be more than a glitch.
