Oh I see. For the spousal visa, the NVC handled that but the fiance visa, the embassy handle the case.

yeah I guess so, we definitely need help with questions for the interview. So far I've just been reading up on the reviews for interviewing.

The embassy really wants to see lots of photos, email, phone logs and how well the beneficiary knows the petitioner. How we communicate and how we keep in contact. Lots of info about each other.

How many time the petitioner visit the beneficiary is important too. I've been visiting my wife every year for the last 5 years. They want to see an ongoing relationship.

As of now my case is stll sitting at NVC until there's an opening for interview. There are 3 of us here at VJ that are spouse visa. Maybe you guys will get an interview immediately because your case will physically be at the embassy so that's good. Once you turn in your packet 3 to the embassy that is.

I ask them before and they say it's a good thing if you are present with your significant other for the interview, and the embassy allow the petitioner to be there the last time I talk to them. So try to be there if you can.

As far as plane ticket I've always purchased them from EVA air directly from their website, sometimes they have deals and discounts. You can always try to search on those travel website for deals also. I guess September will be the cheapest during the low tourist season.
