You can come back to the States and it will not hurt you husbands case. The embassy knows that you were living with him in Pakistan and that should have helped your case. Now you can come back to the States. When you get here try to open a bank account and get a State ID or drivers license. Anything that will show you are here in the US and have a place for you both to live.

They dont care as long as your not a green card holder. If ur a green card holder, living in Pakistan they will tell you to go back to States and send Prove. My Aunt was a green card holder living in Pak and before they issued my uncles Visa they had her come to Cali and take photos at our local walmart lol... For a US Citizen It doesnt matter, I lived in Pakistan for nine months aswell and our case has been in AP for eight months.

Hi,

I seem to be having the same problem...

the case with me is I am a US Citizen, 6 months pregnant, been living with my husband for a 1.5 years ever since our marriage.

My husband will be going for an interview next week InshAllah, and his sponsor is my Father.

Will it create an issue that I have been living with my husband for so long???

Will it be helpful if I accompany him to the interview?

Many people are telling me not to say that I have been with my husband and that I have been living in the states which I am afraid of therefore I am asking you guys for help.

Thanks in advance.
