Obamacare creates even more jobs

Olive Garden and Red Lobster have joined Walmart in reducing full time workers and increasing part time workers therby creating more jobs to reduce the unemployment figure.

More and more employers are increasing the number jobs they offer while cutting hours for each position below the 30 hour requirement for Obamacare. Most do so quietly or by attrition.Many of these types of employers have traditionally high turnover and simple replace full time workers with 2 part time workers without any notice or announcement.

It's looking like eventually, the employer-based health care system is seeing its last days and that soon everyone will just be buying their own insurance, like auto insurance. Hopefully the mandate will keep the prices for those down. Otherwise, we may see an eventual shift to govenrment provided healthcare like they do in Europe.

The only problem there is keeping the prices down. We're seeing reports of premium hikes of over 60% on like-for-like coverage here. Only when the spin and disinformation clears and a realistic analysis of the new rates under the PPACA will we find out the true picture.
