What kind of work do you do in Bosnia? What type of job did you aspire to get when you got a master's in Food Science and Technology?

I was working for a month on drinking water quality analysis. I can do everything that is in aspect of food quality, food processing in food companies, food regulatory agencies, food safety etc. I earned bacchelor degree in Food technology and Master degree in Food analysis, by World university service program at University of Sarajevo.

So the best way to figure out, in my mind, is to search on job websites like monster.com for job openings listings for the same job you have already done. Then they will have a list of requirements for the job. Then you will see how you measure up. Look into whether or not you need a special permit/license to be one of these people. Generally to get a job you don't need to get your degree evaluated; showing a diploma isn't something we do here to get a job. Obviously if you lie about it you'll get caught and fired, but to get the job they trust your qualifications.

If this sort of job requires a license then you will probably have to get your degree evaluated.

Maybe someone will come along that has specific knowledge of your field.

Here is a listing. Is this something for you? It might be below you; it doesn't say a degree is required. http://jobview.monster.com/Quality-Food-Safety-Coordinator-Job-Houston-TX-122860463.aspx

General advice: make sure your resume is up to US standards. Better yet, have a professional company look over the resume when you are done with it.

Edit: Also check with the local government for water quality jobs.
