hello to everyone hre i just want to ask about the reqirements i needed for applying my social security? and also about AOS requirements what we need to submited ? i get hre on june 18 and my fiance he has plan by next week trying to apply my social security thank you and god bless to all of us have a good day

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

You will need your passport w/ I-94 and the SS-5 form completed. Its best to wait about 10 business days after arrival to apply as it takes time for your information to get in the system. You need to apply at least 10 business days before the I-94 expires.

My wife filed for her SSN right after we were married so her card was issued in her married name. We took the marriage certificate to the county recorder to have it recorded then got a couple certified copies.

AOS, the GUIDE here works pretty good. Apply for the EAD and AP at the same time as there is no charge if done together.

Does this also pertain to CR-1 Visa ?

CR-1 has a green card in process upon arrival (if fee is paid). I am not sure of the immigrations form you present at SSA, . But for the SS card application itself the form is always the SS-5
