We didn't have dinner tonight because lunch was so late. But it was grilled cheese with honey ham for me for lunch. Hubs had plain grilled cheese with a bowl of chili. I dunno how he can eat that canned chili... UGH. I'll have to introduce him to real chili in winter.

I made grilled rib eye with mushrooms and onions, also grilled. Rice with turmeric for a starch and grilled bananas for desert.

If you really like mushrooms you can cook up a little ground beef, then add a chopped onion and a package of mushrooms (cleaned and sliced), salt and pepper to taste. Hubby loves it (he taught me how to cook it). I don't like mushrooms, so I'm not real happy when I eat it. Another hubby favorite that I love by the way, is sliced peppers and onions sauteed together with sour cream added at the very end. Albanians tend to eat one-dish meals with copious amounts of bread.

Tacos. And hubby bought chicken hearts. I said "eww". He said, "but they are so yummy." He asked if I ever ate them. I said I would boil them to make broth for stuffing and then throw the meat to the dog because it was like rubber. He said, "omg." I said, "that's ok, you can eat them, I will eat tacos." lol

Grilled tilapia, cooked over charcoal, of course. White rice, mixed vegetables and tomato slices with extra virgin olive oil. And grilled bananas for desert. Again.
