I noticed that folks are waiting on different visas so I was hopeful to hear from only fiancé visa folks... How long before you got your case number from the nvc???

Have you recieved your case # yet? What did your copy say, did it list a consulate? Did it say that it's been sent directly to the consulate or NVC?

7 months 2 weeks and 4 days after we filed for I-129F (K1 Fiance(e) Visa) we finally received my visa in the mail today. This is a wonderful day!!!!

Congrats!!! :) ours is supposed to come tomorrow so we'd be 7 months and 1 day. Feels like 7 years. :D

I got my case number today. The file is still sitting at NVC but at least it is logged now. I could cry!! one more step down.

yay- one step closer! :)

Nothing really. The embassy did something with it, logged it into their system, sent something to the beneficiary, or some other update. You could call DoS and ask, but usually it's nothing important and doesn't really matter.

good to see you were approved. My fiancé leaves Poltava for Kiev tomorrow. They fly out Wed the 28th with POE in Atlanta.

Thanks, my fiancee will come here in October, not really ready to go in Sep. How long did it take you to receive the visa? Our status check shows since yesterday that TNT picked it up and is processing it to send to the office we picked.

In any case, last Friday after we already passed the interview, my fiancee finally received a letter from the embassy that they have our case and we should schedule the interview! Ukrposhta at their best. rofl.gif Thank God the embassy has enough sense not to use them to actually send back the passport.
