I noticed that folks are waiting on different visas so I was hopeful to hear from only fiancé visa folks... How long before you got your case number from the nvc???

Have you recieved your case # yet? What did your copy say, did it list a consulate? Did it say that it's been sent directly to the consulate or NVC?

aradeb, I read your post, and I immediately wanted to empathize, but then I had to laugh: you're right, EVERY step of this process IS SO frustrating! Every single step! Nothing about this has been quick, especially for all the horrors facing those with extreme delays. I hope you can find the humor, and just a little more patience. God's will, and not our ownrose.gif

June 24 VSC to TSC transfer. July 3 NOA2. Released to NVC july 24.. Got Case number Aug 1. Case sent to Ukraine embassy Aug 3. Case ready Aug 8. Fiance had medical today, and passed. Has embassy interview on Friday! Hope to fly her here next Friday

At Russian embassy interview dates were open for almost everyday, since we did medical and police report ahead. I had long email conversation with embassy and when our case was there for 11 days I emailed them again. Immediately I got response with "invitation" and instruction via email how to pay and schedule interview date.

Turns out in Russia you just pay $240 and schedule interview, but make sure that all paperwork is done and on hand!!

She had interview on Monday and we are APPROVED!! Visa will be ready in few days - they say smile.png YAAAAYYYY smile.png

Congrats to you both..we were also a TSC transfer from May...NOA2 on 6/25 and we had our interview today and we're all approved. :) so exciting!!
