Called NVC again. My petition is still not in the system and it's been over two weeks. The operator on the phone told me to wait up to 8 weeks!! He also told me that all i-129f petitions go through the NVC. Even if my NOA 2 states it was sent directly to consulate.

Yeah now there is no tracking or anything to check besides calling them everyday. So frustrating.

Did you receive a notice that it has been sent to Department of State?

I got a message from NVC saying that my case has been transferred to Kuala Lumpur U.S consular. NVC didn't asked us anything, straight from CSC to consulate, they said; your case is no longer located at NVC, all the inquiry must submit to KL consular. What next guys? can you speculate any Idea about the next stage? Thanks.

Double check it with your embAssy if they have your file. Check your embassy requirements as well for the docs needed in your interview.

Got my NOA2 saying my petition was forwarded to the 'listed consulate' but no consulate was listed. Ad when I called a second time the operator told me all I-129f cases must go through the NVC. Has anyone else had that on their NOA2 is it accurate? Do petitions get sent to consulate directly sometimes???

Yea, that's what mine says. I tried contacting the consulate in India but they were no help. Just waiting.

reading some other threads about this. Seems that the forwarded to consulate line is just another way of saying its gone to NVC to then be sent to the consulate. And although our petition maybe at the NVC time varies for how long it takes them to issue a case number.....bummer...

Make sure to include all these dates for different things on your timeline as you go along such as the xfers, date shipped and all of that. I see a trend of ppl getting xfered so I know they will be anxious and curious to know. :) Have an awesome night and remember Bob Marley....Every lil thing is gonna be alright
