Filed I129F on the 10th of November and received NOA1 the 15th November

I received NOA2 on the 8th of May and still no case number from the NVC.

I've been calling NVC everyday for over a month now but nothing, just same story.

We have contacted the congressman and senator but they haven't not been able to help so far,

Getting really irritating as we paid $340 for this sort of service also the NOA2 expires on the 8th of September.

Oh jees. You were approved in May and still don't have the case number from NVC? I strongly suggest you to check with US Consulate in beneficiary country to see at least if they received anything. It won't hurt in checking there. I am really sorry, that is really long wait. Were you also transferred to TSC?

Has anyone with those notices of sending their approved petitions to DOS contacted them yet???

People have been getting notices only from last couple of days. I don't think NVC would have anything this soon. May be some time next week.

Just spoke with operator at NVC and she said still no case number in the system. I asked timeline on this. She replied that usually it might take up to 8 weeks, BUT this is K-1 and K-1 get expedited service, so it is not like any other regular visa. Does not take that much.

Here is an answer for this 8 weeks. To clear up confusion. BUT if this is what they call expedited service, then I don't know why we pay taxes...

I can't remember who received the same notice, but I just received the following in an email from USCIS:

On July 9, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

Hello... :)

When is your NOA2 date and were you a VSC transfer?

Thanks for this post!

Hi Everybody,

I got the same notice last night:

Post Decision Activity

On July 9, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

My NOA2 date was June 18, and until now NVC has told me they haven't received my file. Like everyone else on here, their estimate went from 15 days to 8 weeks, which really just meant NVC had no idea when they would receive it. Hopefully now all of us who have been suffering through this intolerable delay due to this VSC->TSC transfer business will finally be having our applications sent out to the embassies so we can move forward. I've had it with all these ridiculous delays! ranting33va.gif

This is a good sign that they are sending it to DOS. Hope the June 25th and so on are next to receiving this notice... smile.png

Good luck to you,

klease Keep us posted on the continuation of this new notice and when you actually receive your case number... smile.png
