The Waiting room for fiancé visa case number is it 10 days or 20

No. We were one of the first approved from Texas on 6/13 and we are still waiting for the NVC to receive it. I know that cases with the same NOA2 as me from VSC and CSC already have their numbers. Not sure what is up with Texas.

I was thinking they are going to send the whole batch of tranferees in TSC? I hope not. Last friday there are no approvals in TSC. I hope they will be phmping approvals this week and send the approved to NVC before holiday. Another week to look forward to.

Hi Dustin,

Just curious, have you asked TSC if they sent your application to NVC yet?

I contacted my senators office on Thursday and ask them to inquire if my case had been sent to NVC yet. I'll follow up with them Tuesday and see if they found anything out. But, I'm fullying expecting NVC to recieve next week. July 5th will be the 15th business day (22nd normal day).

For my senators office staff sake I hope I get it next week otherwise they are going to be hearing from me everyday (a repeat of getting my NOA2). I really don't want to end up being one of these cases that takes 2 months to get to NVC - that's my nightmare.

I see a lot of people from TSC transfer thread made their way here.. so got my NOA2 approval on June 26 should I call this week to check? maybe before the 4th or after?

Also ive been reading from other people that after 1 month or 2 months their case number still hasnt been given by the NVC is that true?

I can confirm it's true. I was approved May 7th and still no NVC.

BTW, it says you need names and dates of birth, but I have yet to be asked for more than my USCIS number, of course they haven't received my case yet, so perhaps they don't ask for more information from you until they actually have something to tell you

Edit. The better answer is in the post above. But yeah I don't think they ask for names and birthdays until they have the number in their system, because we are no in their system so they don't know that info.

Thanks Dustin. I'm sorry you won't be together for your birthday - seems like we miss too many of these important occasions but hopefully this is the last one apart for you guys.

We are hopeful he will be here for 8/9 for a few reasons and hoping they will see our marriage date and make it happen but everything will have to go perfectly..all we can do is pray and hope for the best so it's what we're doing.

Now just waiting on them to send it to London...well not really waiting, now that we have the number, we can get everything ready to send in when the case arrives in London.

Great news! congrats! I called DOS today and they don't have my file yet....but based on your timeline, I would be hoping for Thursday but that's a holiday. dang.

It's been 15 days for us and no case number.. A member here enigma23 gave me another number to call that is faster than the nvc!!!!

nice! Guess ill have to wait a week or so to try and call them but I already sent them an email to see just in case. I'll call that number before this weekend.
