Does it work right for you, have you tried to check your status?

I check mine several times per day and I've never seen that message come up. If you typed it in correctly and it is still saying that, you should call DOS and ask them to see what's going on. That doesn't sound normal. Worst case scenario, if it is a computer issue, they could tell you that with a call. Hopefully that's all it is and it corrects itself

Just got the shipped to NVC email, Jul 2 NOA2! They seem to be speeding up, only took a bit more than 2 weeks to ship to NVC. Gonna give them a few days and start calling them daily sometime next week to get my case number.

Hi everyone, just spoke to the NVC and they gave me my case number. The representative said they don't keep the K1's too long in the office there and it should be sent to the Mumbai Consulate shortly.

My senator's office said it will take a max of 2 weeks.

Fingers crossed my fiancee will have an interview date within the next couple of weeks!

Yesterday my case was In transit. I tried to track my case today and it says Your search did not return any data

Can you recheck because I just checked mine...yesterday it was "in transit" and now it says "ready" and wait for our date from the consulate!!!

It worked just fine until today, I don't know what's the problem today.

I checked mine twice already today once before and once after I read your post, and the site is working for me. My advice would be try it a final time and if you still are getting that message, try calling DOS, they can look and try to see what the problem is. Since this just seems to be your account, the most likely scenario is it being mistyped on your end, but assuming you've double checked that issue, then it's also possible it got entered incorrectly on their end. I think it would be worth the time to make the call, if it does nothing else it will set your mind at ease, and if there is an issue, you can have them look into it for you.

Actually, I just thought of something. Make sure you have Immigration visa selected, it's possible that it is trying to look up a non-immigration visa. If that's not it then I'd try calling.

Around 10 hours after our congressman complained to Texas we got a notification we'd been shipped to NVC.

NOA2 date is July 8th

The embassy is closed, but not the DOS in the United States. I don't know if you are the petitioner or the beneficiary so I don't know if you are in the US or India, but you can call the DOS line and check. 1-202-663-1225 I believe they are open until 5pm Eastern Time which is about 4.5 hours from now. They would be able to not only look it up by case number, if they can't find it they could try using your USCIS number or birth dates or names to search the database. Worth a shot

Press 2 for Immigrant Visas (yeah, yeah - we know they're not really)

Press 3 for Family or Employer Based Visas

Press 2 for Fiance(e) visas

Press 0 for an Operator

You don't have to go through the entire menu.

Just press 1 for English main menu and then press 0 for operator.

DOS would definitely allow you to call because once it got into their hands, it's become your application for a visa. Technically, even though you were the beneficiary for the I-129F, you are now the applicant and you are the main point of contact for this case. Of course the call would be rather expensive and probably not worth it when you can just call the embassy in the morning, but perhaps your fiance could make the call for you. If not, then I'd definitely call the embassy in the morning and see what's going on.

I went to the ceac site to see if I could recreate your error and the only way I could get that same wording was to mistype my case number, which tells me that someone on either end has inputted the information incorrectly, whether that's on your end or the embassy/DOS end, I cannot tell, but odds are good that is the issue.

Thanks for this post Azsara. I showed it to my congressman and his rep. sent me this back

"Thank you for making me aware of that! I called over to my liaison at the TSC who confirmed that your file wasnt shipped yet but she is going to send an email to the records unit to get it shipped ASAP. Im going to call her again in a week to confirm it got sent.

I apologize for the delay, I havent had this happen before and was under the impression it was shipped already."

I encourage everyone who has been waiting for a case number to have their congressmen and senators call TSC because they are clearly having issues getting the files out the door.
