I really can't understand Why USCIS keeping the files there .I hope all of them one day will be away from there love once for year ..then maybe they will understand what we going through ..its sad depressing .damn wait and wait ..waited more then 6 months to get approved .now from one office to other again wait and wait.ranting33va.gifranting33va.gifranting33va.gifranting33va.gifmad.gifmad.gif

I know exactly what you are talking about. Waited 5 months to receive a notice that the case has been transferred to TSC from VSC and then waited another month to get approved and now going into a third week after approval and the case still is sitting with USCIS. No idea what we are paying for. I have sent an e-mail yesterday to NVC inquiry and NVC Research and have yet to hear back anything. I am in process of contacting our Congressman and Senator. May be you should try that too, although not sure if they will be of any help...

I did get a case number yesterday. I don't mean on the USCIS website, I mean on the Department of State CEAC website where you track it from the NVC.

https://ceac.state.gov

oh yes, sorry, I got so used to you having to wait so long for everything that I didn't realize you'd gotten your number :)

The "In Transit" message is the standard message they put on their when it is on it's way to London. Mine took exactly one week from the day it said In Transit until it was logged in. Then it was a few more days to get the letter through the mail. Sounds like you are well on your way now. Things seem to be pretty smooth for the most part through London from what I've seen with those ahead of us

Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center. I got this message too. And for the case number e-mail - i sent e-mail to NVC and they repilied with my case number and info about my petition. Now it is in transit. I don't know how my interview date could be provided by NVC???

You are correct, NVC doesn't provide the interview date. There are some embassies where you take the number generated by NVC and schedule an interview online, but mine isn't one of those so I can't really speak to that too much except to say it does happen that way for some countries. You'd have to check with your specific embassy on how they schedule their interviews.

If the trend continues, looks like mine will be sent to DOS sometime next week (Jul 2 NOA2). Doesn't seem to be any point in calling them before getting the notification from USCIS that it was shipped.

Was planning on scheduling interview in August as I'm able to go to Ukraine to be there for her, but with this delay in getting them to the NVC I Don't know if it'll happen now. Maybe it's still possible if Ukraine consulate isn't busy (from checking the stats here, it seems Ukraine is one of the fastest consulates). At least there's no need to wait for them to send anything in Ukraine, as soon as the consulate has it in their system, you can just go online and schedule the interview for the next available date.

I am VSC to TSC transfer june 21, NOA2 of July 3. This is what I got from my congressmans office today:

Chris,

This is what I just received regarding your case.

Thank you for your Tuesday, July 16, 2013, email on behalf of your constituent, Mr. Chris XXXXX, regarding his pending Form I-129F,Petition for Alien Fiancé(e).

USCIS records indicate that Mr. XXXXXX’s petition was approved on July 3, 2013 and an approval notice mailed out the same day. Once approved, it takes approximately 15 business days for USCIS to complete the administrative processing of the petitions before we can send them to the Department of State National Visa Center (DoS NVC). I can see in the systems that his petition is in the final stages here at USCIS. It should be forwarded to the NVC within the next several days or early next week.

My fiance just got an e-mail response from the CAO (Customer Assistance Office) at USCIS, in response to our complaint to the White House about waiting for our NOA2.. USCIS responded directly to us saying they investigated our case on behalf of President Obama (oops.. lol) and in response to our enquiry, they found that our case was approved and transferred to the NVC.

So Obama's people were getting onto USCIS chasing up our case a month after our NOA2 and they're like "We've done your NOA2 and sent it off, we appreciate your patience". =o Gosh. Lol.

When did you call? I just called at 5 and still didn't have our :( I feel sick.

Did you already pay your visa fee? You need to pay that first and wait 4-5 hours to schedule appointment.

Edit: nevermind I though you were trying to schedule appointment not track case.

No sorry I miss read. You don't need to pay to track. Just need to pay to schedule interview. I think you can't track since they probably just assigned your number and the computer hasn't updated yet. (Just a guess) Edited by Dustin and Janen

Yeah I think our cases are together since we have same NOA2, same shipped to DOS/NVC date, and same embassy. I'm calling now. Ill just call them every hour tonight since I'm going crazy and have nothing else to do now.

I'm just guessing but I bet you can't track yet since they just assigned the number and the computer hasn't fully updated. Again that is just my guess.

Edit I'm wrong in my guess haha.
