I believe that this is a mistake, we got NOA2 hardcopy and I believe in that, other than that i will wait for the first NVC numbers for transferred cases and then call to see if i got one.

I think that's a good sign you guys..hopefully you will get the DOS note tonight!

Not yet S4TL. I'm 6/25 and still waiting...I think it's going to be more like MOnday before I hear...I am not a patient person -this process is grueling!!

I read earlier today for those Applying for IR-CR1 visa they get all the updates from NVC, when NVC received their case and assigned number, when the case is completed and sent to Embassy or Consulate, I wonder if NVC keep updating K-1 visa petitioners the same way?

In my particular case, I got my case number by calling just like most people on here, then after that, I went to the Consular Electronic Application website ( https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/ ) and clicked the link where it says "check my visa application status". While it was at NVC is said "Received" or something similar, then after a few days it changed to "In Transit" then after a week it changed to "Ready" which meant it was received and logged in by the Embassy, in my case in London. That's as far as I've gotten, but those are the messages I've received so far from the state department online case tracking.

not really i am waiting since 4 june when i got my noa2 and nothing yet they keep saying that is on California for what i duno ..we didnt had any RFE ..just wait haw long god knows ..when we call them all they know to say is wait same tier 2 ..so useless

I think what they are doing at TSC is borderline criminal. I understood how a center could get behind, I think we all have seen that, but to make you guys wait after approval THIS long is utterly ridiculous.

Honestly, as far as getting files to NVC, I noticed watching february filers that VSC is fastest, CSC next then well, we are still waiting to see what TSC can actually accomplish. I hope for everyone's sake that the messages people are receiving from TSC USCIS right now about their cases being sent is genuine and that NVC gets all your files quickly. Once you get past the USCIS stage, things seem to move at a much better pace (more often than not).

I definitely agree it needs to be a MUCH more transparent process, especially on the USCIS end of things. I wrote both my Senators and Representative awhile back to try and get them to fix this process while they were working on the new immigration bill, but that didn't seem to do any good whatsoever. All we can plan on is to make all our plans on short notice at a later date, because this process allows for nothing more.

ok, i just called the NVC, our case it not showing up. I guess out petition still did not reach the NVC. We got the message that it was send on the 9th. Another weekend without knowing anything.

I got this text yesterday around 3PM (Your case EAC13******** is now updated. Check "My Case Status" at www.uscis.gov .) still no update on My Case Status website ..what's going on with them..??
