Congrats to all who have finally received the notice of transfer to NVC. Unfortunately some of us still haven't :(. Hopefully we will be following you some time soon as well.

Congrats to all who are having their cases move forward...since we didn't get ours until 6/25, maybe we will hear something the following week. I really hope they get some prompt attention at NVC after this mixup. :)

smile.png that's good news how long do you think will it take for NVC to place our approved petition in their system?

Will it be 2 weeks?

I hope not. I'm hoping they will have by Friday.

If they can ship from Vermont to Texas in 2 days, I think they can ship from Texas to New Hampshire in 2 days.

I'll continue to call them everyday even though I know they won't have it yet, but it's just part of my daily routine now.

Just got off the phone with a operator at the NVC who sounded as if she was fed up with her whole life...after rudely 'asking' what I wanted I gave her my receipt number and she told me it wasnt in the system. I asked her if cases were ever sent directly to the consulate as my NOA2 does not state it was sent to the NVC...she told me "I don't know how to help you with that." and hung up. Good to see these gov't workers are as chipper as ever. Hopefully next time I'll reach someone livelier.

I just don't understand why they can't make a simple status check app that would let you enter your USCIS number and it'll tell you the status! They would reduce the number of people calling in substantially.

Isn't that what you do at the USCIS site?

Isn't that what you do at the USCIS site?

It doesn't tell you when the NVC receives it or give you the embassy case number that NVC assigns.

Called NVC again. My petition is still not in the system and it's been over two weeks. The operator on the phone told me to wait up to 8 weeks!! He also told me that all i-129f petitions go through the NVC. Even if my NOA 2 states it was sent directly to consulate.

My case has been approved for over three weeks as far as the website is concerned....now its in a black hole...no realtime monitoring like a FedEx shipment.....

Yeah now there is no tracking or anything to check besides calling them everyday. So frustrating.
