I think next week the first ones are gonna get their case numbers. I still think that TSC sent 2 weeks of approvals to NVC

I kinda think it makes sense for them to send 2 weeks approvals. When i looked into the "VSC to TSC transfer" thread it seemed like till friday June 28th there were every day lots of approvals. But after the weekend monday and tuesday it was like kinda nothing and on wednesday they mailed out (almost) only RFE's. So if my theory was right and I compare it with CSC/VSC then the first numbers has to be assigned next week. My fiancé called NVC on tuesday and was also told UP to 8 weeks. Most people still say 8 weeks here but this is such a HUGE difference when we originally are told UP to.

Next week will be our 4th week of waiting, so I don't think the whole 2 weeks theory is true for TSC.

I really hope we get our number. My fiancee will be in Manila to get a package I mailed (financials, etc) and complete her CFO (Philippines specific requirement). If we get it while she is there she can extend her stay and complete her medical exam and save us on Airfare.

But, at this point I'm not very optimistic of that happening. Calling everyday for 3 weeks really wears you down. We are moving on with the process and not waiting; that is why she is going to Manila next week to keep on doing what can be done now. We were waiting to save on the number of trips to Manila and the cost associated with them.

I guess the only plus of this long of a wait is I might have enough money saved up to fly there for the interview by the time it is scheduled. I don't think a July interview is realistic at this point even if we get the MNL # next week. Unless I am able to convince the Embassy that we deserve an "early" appointment based on how many delays we had.

My fiance is coming up on July 23rd to stay for the remainder of the process and this is delaying us because we wanted to all be done by October initially. Now we don't know what's going on, so we are hoping for the best and planning for the worst. We've done him a return date of December 10th now, to allow everything to be done and for me to work out my month's notice with my workplace.

Anyone know if any of the VSC-TSC transferred cases got the NVC # yet? I saw someone reported theirs at NVC but no number. We got the same message that it's up to an 8 week wait. When I spoke with DOS yesterday they said that USCIS is implementing some changes to their mailing process as of last Tuesday July 2 and that's why it's taking longer to get to NVC. Personally I think TSC is probably upset over taking on a case load from VSC...no one likes to pick up someone else's slack. These cases were transferred for "quicker processing" but they didn't tell us they were going to approve them and let them sit for a month before moving them on to the next step. Hope they're not waiting for the first load of transferred cases to all be approved before shipping as some people's petitions may have complications that will take longer to approve. They just told me they are sent off in batches and they must not have enough to mail yet. Very frustrating! I saw today that a few couples from VSC (my original center) who are US-UK couples (like myself and fiancé) filed 2 weeks before us and they already have their interviews scheduled 13 days from now. This transfer has proved to be a huge challenge and set back for us all. I hope that this all makes us and yourselves a stronger couple in the end of it all.

As far as i know no one from TSC got their Case Number yet. There were 3 of us who got NOA 2 June 13, earliest in the batch but just like the rest of us who got approvals in June ,we all are still waiting for NVC to get us the case numbers.

Recently NVC 's verbatim is 8 weeks.:(

Hi Andy,

Did your application skip the NVC process completely and went straight to the embassy? If so did you get an NVC number some other way?

my noa2 says forwarded to consulate too. the embassy contacted me 3 days after we got noa2 and gave me an interview date. i asked them if we should contact nvc they told me no its them to do that

I don't believe they are a TSC transfer judging by this post they made on June 28...I cannot find one TSC person that has a case number...can you give me another name to check?

Thanks!

We are also a Vermont case......Approved June 13 and NVC case number June 21 - 8 days later.
