A fair assumption, but she first alerted me to the problem when she was trying to put her receipt number in. She hadn't even checked the calendar yet.

Again, it was also exhibiting this behavior before logging in, and with no cookies. on a different IP address.

Also, this was about 6pm China time, so there could have been an influx of people checking the site after work. After about 2am china time, I was able to access.

Though I had another thought as well, perhaps a forum thread that's left open, and people can set it for immediate auto notification.

Then if someone sees that slots are opened, they can post "Now" and everyone would get an email.

Not sure it would be fast enough, but it's a thought.
