Timeline

Just looking at people's journeys in DR some people that had their case completed at the end of May have already been given the dates for their interviews in mid to late July. They are all the same as my case: we are wives applying for husbands and we have children.

What's going on? why are some cases being scheduled but not mine? My case got completed on May 20th only 8 days after the ones of people that already got date interviews.

I am moving to DR in 2 weeks to be over there and wait with my husband because I can no longer be in the US without his support. We have a baby that was born in March and physically I am in need of his help since I have been diagnosed with arthritis of the spine a condition that limits my movement and the weight I can pick up. I have no family in the US

How can expedite the interview?

How about financially for expedite? If my husband is not here by the the start of september I will not be able to comeback to the US to continue my doctorate's program which is how I make my salary as a Teaching Assistant and a graduate student. We will just stay in DR and I have no idea how will I repay the student loans that I have taken out which is a lot! I mean I will always tell them where I am but not sure how will I be able to pay these loans if I am forced to move out of the country since I do not have any other support in the US and if I ever get a job in DR is in pesos that I will earn not dollars.

Anyways this a lof of info anyone with advice please help.

This last part of the process has been the hardest because my entire life depends on what these people decide to do with my future.
