The Lasalle Causeway is in my home town of Kingston, Ontario. it is a metal lift bridge at the entrance to Kingston from Highway 2 passing over the Rideau River. If you visit Old Fort Henry from Kingston you will go over the causeway. I'veI always heard the sounds - I just never realized this connection before. This is pretty cool. Enjoy!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Lol, it doesn't actually do that, they used sounds from the bridge to make the song.

Yes, it would have had to be a really super fast sped up version judging by the short size of the bridge if it did play the entire song :)

There used to be a bridge in Kelowna that would hum like that (it was a floating bridge) and we used to lift our feet and hum when we went over it. They built a new bridge so the old one is gone

I also hold my breath through avalanche tunnels and lift my feet over cattle guards unless I'm the one driving.

I noticed that I didn't have the option to pick Sweetgrass as my POE review point. I could only pick US/CAN border.

Weird.

Maybe there's another classification I'm missing.

But when I search for POE reviews, sarnia is an option to choose.

I just looked at the POE pages.

On the main POE page right under Seattle there was Sweet Grass, Montana.

BUT there wasn’t that same drop down option in the submit POE review.

So, you can read reviews (2 really old ones) but not submit new ones?

I saw where I could ask the Admin (Capt Ewok) to add a POE so I explained it to him in a PM.

Hopefully it’ll be fixed in the next month so I can submit a review for Sweet Grass.
