How does expedite decision take?

I found today that the NVC forwarded it to the embassy on Friday. So the embassy has only had it like 2 business days. I will call NVC tonight to see if anything happened this afternoon. Also, I mailed my AOS package this morning and it'll arrive tomorrow morning.

To clarify, the NVC forwarded it to the embassy for a decision on the expedite on Friday, not the entire case

I'm still waiting to hear something. I emailed my local congressman's office and the assistant emailed me back saying she will contact the US Embassy in Manila directly to find out what's going on.

That's a good idea. I will go to my local congressman's office tomorrow in person

I faxed all my info today to my congressman and they said they would call the embassy for me. Feel good about it

I called the NVC a few hours ago and the expedite was approved! They told me to mail the AOS, IV application and supporting documents to the NVC Attention PI Supervisor Sue. The operator told me she will forward the file to Manila immediately.

NVC told me this morning our case would be forwarded to the Panamanian embassy, and to direct all further questions to the embassy. But their phone hours are 8-11 AM, only Monday and Wednesday...ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
