Kind of hard to charge a dead man with assault, which is the charges he would be facing had GZ not capped him.. So proving that he assaulted GZ and that it was not self defense and that he had a history of this kind of behavior. It is absolutely relevant.

Context, my friend. Context. Who was he talking about? The word "coons" is highlighted below - about the center of the call. Take that with his habitual calling in black males - as young as 7-9 years old - to the police and it is not hard to see why many will see him as the bigot that he is. Of course, one can close one's eyes and pretend that none of that actually happened.

The defense withdrew that claim, since the "evidence" didn't show what they wanted the jury and pulbic to be "aware of" pretrial.
