DS230 package

Hello all,

Could you pls tell me what DS230 package includes? We began to prepare it but havent recieved the pack yet. As i know,

* Police certificate

* Birth certificate

* Marriage certificate

* What else? Which forms will we fill rahter than DS230?

If someone can help me, i will really appreciate..

Hi sgulsahs,

The DS-230 package includes the DS-230 part I form and the list of documents you will need for the interview. When you get the package you usually only need to send back the form filled out with a copy of the biographical page of your passport and the barcode sheet that comes with the form. I honestly don't know if it depends on the country, but I think it doesn't.

To bring to the interview you'll need:

1. Birth Certificate and copy

2. Marriage Certificate and copy

3. Police certificates and copies (I guess this depends on your country and the countries you have lived)

4. Picture

5. Military records and copy (if it applies to you)

6. DS-230 part II (this comes with the packet 4 from the consulate).

7. Medical exams (instructions will come with the DS-230 package, also the list of vaccines you'll need to get)
