Has there been any luck for anyone for scheduling an interview? Still no luck for me. 快受不了

How many types of visas apply through the Guangzhou embassy? I'm just trying to realize how many people are waiting to get an interview date. Thousands perhaps?

Also, is your priority date totally meaningless to the embassy?

no luck yet. I check the calendar thousands of times everyday with no luck. The CGI website drove me cracy and I received the same answers from CGI representative every time I called.

Yes. I do! I just ignore that message, I can still check to see if any open slot available. But blank calendar every time I checked

I got the blocked notice for the first time today. I'm only checking the site 3-5 times a day!

I checked it again tonight and it's gone, so I'm probably just checking too many times per each session since I checked it on a different PC tonight.

I'm praying they're slowly opening up the interview dates based on when you paid or something like that, and not a mass opening for the thousands waiting. It seems like this might be the case since some people have gotten August interview dates already but most of us are still waiting.

No. Found out tonight that they release appointment times during afternoon GUZ time though....Of course when I'm sleeping.

I've some suspicion that the interview will be done at the new Consular Enclave.

Keep yer eyes peeled on 22 July for any announcements. It's good your interview is in August, though - gives the IV Unit time to actually post the official announcement of the move and hopefully CGI Stanley will do some 'copy/paste'..

I have a little confusion about what the "priority date" actually is. I thought it was the date listed on the email letter we received from the US Consulate General telling us we can now schedule an interview. It says "Your Priority Date : 22 OCT 2012" Is this right?

I was told by a USCIS phone person when I started the process that it's basically worthless but it's the date of your NOA1.
