Follow the Guides.

Here is a quick and dirty outline for you.

You want to file the I-130 for a spousal visa.

There are many steps to getting the immigration visa to come to the US.

After your wife has her conditional green card for 2 years, she must file to remove the condition on her green card. If she does not do this, she automatically loses her green card status.

So, study up on the process completely before you file as there are lots of requirements.

OP is married. They cannot pursue a K1 (fiancee) visa.

thank you for all your generous information. yes their is a lot of information to study on. still kind of overwhelmed of which process is the best solution. would anyone prefer a business that would help me prepare my petition from start to finish? or ill be better off doing it myself. I don't want to make any mistakes to delay or to deny my petition. thank you

it is quite simple to do, yes lots of details, but take your time to assemble it and it really isn't all that painful

there are country specific recommendations.. meaning if it is a high fraud country you will want to front load it to prevent any issues later; there are also some countries that in order to be successful with the interview, both individuals should be there.

a lawyer is a waste of money, but if it gives you peace of mind and you have the money, go for it... beware though, that there are hundreds of posts here where the attorney screwed up also... keep in mind when making these decisions: who cares most about filing an accurate petition, you or the attorney?
