In reading through all the Posts here in VJ and reading the instructions on the I 134, I am un-sure as to whether I really need to provide a Bank Statement. I have a letter from my employer and three of my tax returns with W-2's. The instructions say provide at least two of the following, which include the items above aswell as Bank statements etc.

If my income is well above the poverty levels and I supply notarized copies of 2003,2004 and 2005 tax returns with W-2's and a letter from my Employer along with the I 134, will this suffice?

Thanks,

Tony

If your income for past 3 years is above the poverty line, you wont need the bank statement.

You provided 2 of the following, (1) Tax returns and (2) Letter from employer, along with I-134 nothing else in needed.

Also tax transcripts are acceptable and recommended in place of copies of 1040, and W2 forms, the transcripts are free from the IRS. http://www.irs.gov/faqs/faq1-6.html

You do not "need" to provide anything. You only "need" to provide supporting evidence that you want considered. If you feel that the letter and previous returns are sufficient then provide just that. If you are uncertain then provide more.

YMMV

Why not play it safe and provide them anyways??? Worse that can happen is that they don't ask for it.

If you don't take them, and they do ask for it then you in trouble.....

I have always been for taking more than whats necessary, just in case. I would hate to be rescheduled because they asked for something I THOUGHT they would not ask me for.....

Play it safe and take them.
