just a quick question for those who have had or are going to have their interview... what did you/are you taking?

not got it yet im just inquiring in advance (trying to know what to have ready for ahead) just paid IV bill today and husband will mail the ds-230 pack tomorrow.

normally, we only need to bring the proof of bonafide relationship, passport, 2x2pictures etc because NVC will submit to the US consulate everything we passed to them during NVC stage. Just to be sure, many people here advised us to bring Police Certificate, DS 230 form (1&2), passport, BC, adoption papers (if any), Marriage Certificate, marriage termination (if any), court records, financial evidence, military records (if any), GB Police certificate, Photograpgh, Petitioner marriage certificate, petitioner birth certificate, petitioner marriage termination.

Here's London's list, but you will have already sent most of that to NVC http://london.usembassy.gov/application_documents.html

Note on the page: Applications processed by the National Visa Center In New Hampshire - If your sent NVC your documents, they will have been forwarded to the Immigrant Visa Unit together with your application. All that you will be required to furnish on the day of the interview is your passport and three color photographs. However, please review the Document Checklist before attending the interview. If any of the documents were not sent to the National Visa Center, you will be required to obtain them and present them on the day of the interview.

The color photographs are US sized passport photos.

And of course if a document doesn't apply to you like adoption certificate or military records, then you won't be supplying that.

Thank Nich-Nich, I only have photocopys left with me as original plus a copy was sent in the DS-230 pack.

Will it be ok to take photocopies? I have one extra original police certificate which I will take but everywhere is now photocopy

You only have to take your passport and passport photos. The rest will be there in your folder from the NVC. And take credit card to pay the courier. £14.50. And take interview letter to get in the door.

No additional copies needed at the embassy unless they make you feel more secure having them with you in your folder. It's pretty light for you. K1s and DCF filers take all that to the embassy because they don't do NVC processing.
