Hi everyone new memeber here as you can tell, god what a welcoming site for assistance

anyway we are now getting all our documents prepared fpr AOS and I have concerns about insurance

When my husband came here we had to scrape all our money together to get married and get these forms done so basically we are broke now apart from me working (we have a co-sponsor ). looking over people

getting their interview and examples of what documents to take, to my horror I see health insurance and life insurance getting mentioned, is it imperative that you have these or what.

insurance is definitely not a required document. it's just an easy way to show evidence of your joint life together. take whatever proof you have of your shared life--copies of your lease in both names, joint tax returns, utility bills, car insurance showing both drivers, bank statements, etc. i even got a letter from my employer stating that i claimed "married" on my W4 forms.

it's a lot of work gathering the information you'll need, but the interview itself is really not that scary. good luck!
