But yes this is a consulate specific decision on what to wear. :D Don't be sloppy. Don't be naked. But in general I think it's not necessary to dress up in a suit or anything beyond business casual.

Wonder for winter months? Can we wear our bulky winter boots and parkas? Since we will be waiting outside ☃️

I agree. From what I have heard and read and with all due respect a black hoody might not be acceptable in other embassies. Or at least might cause one to stick out like a sore thumb. Oh those Cana

A coat would be fine. Im not sure you need winter boots but if its cold then yes?
