Today is the first slow day that I had at work in the longest time so I have a chance to post a little...Must say that the weekend went by pretty fast but it was great...Both of us loved Boston...Such a beautiful city...so many places to see, things to do and fresh seafood to eat. Nothing better then lobster and crab cakes during Thanksgiving weekend...I had a great time and hope to return one day...I am giving some serious thought to relocating and definitely will take Boston under consideration...Hope that everyone had a great weekend and good holiday...

Love :luv:

Dorothy

My son is in 7th grade.

All I can say is thank you.

I could never handle a class of 7th graders for one period, much less a whole day.

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

-The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Anas bin Malik

A time will come when the sky is torn apart; when the stars scatter, and the ocean drains away; and when the graves are tossed about, and laid open. At that time every man will be told what he has done, and what he has failed to do; and every woman will be told what she has done, and what she has failed to do.

Thanks! Let's just say I looked at two of my sweet and innocent cousins (who are in the seventh grade) a little differently this Thanksgiving!

Janine - that's great news. I'll keep him in my dua. :)

My son and I made some pumpkin bread tonight. I took it out of the oven about 5 minutes ago.

I'm pretty sure if they don't have the smell of fresh baked pumpkin bread in heaven we're being cheated!!!

I'm glad you guys enjoyed Boston, Dorothy! I had a feeling Jamal might really like it. Often people who hate NYC love Boston. :D

It's a great city to live in - but Massachusetts is super expensive.

Where did you make it to here?
