Hello everyone,

It's been a month now that the Casablanca consulate received our case (fiance visa) but we are still waiting to hear back from them. Our NVC status says Ready (case is ready for an interview when scheduled by the US consulat section). Do you guys think it's only natural?

Do both the petioner and the beneficiary get notified by the consulate for an interview? How does Casablanca consulate usually contact the beneficiary? By mail? Normal or express mail?

Is anybody out there in the same situation, especially people waiting to hear back from Casablanca?

Thank you and good luck!

No, I don't think that this wait time is normal. You may email the consulate and inquire at IVCasablanca@state.gov

They typically email the benficiary with a letter that contains the interview date and all of the instructions for medical and forms. If you email them, you may want to confirm that they have the correct email address for you fiance. Include your CSB case number in the email, petitioner and beneficiary name and birthdates. They are quite good at responding to emails!

Best of luck!

I'm in the same position here in Trinidad!

Frustrating isn't it? We feel like we are so close to the end but this is really testing our patience.

Hope u hear from them soon.
