Hi ,

I just want to get a collective response as I am seeing a lot of threads here...

1. Why do I need to call NVC after NOA2 ? and when do I call NVC ?

2. How and what information will receive at NOA 2?

Thanks,

Francisco

This is the info someone gave me to that question specific to Ghana Embassy. Yours might differ.

NOA2 to interview is a hard one as it is always changing. Once you get your NOA2 wait a week call NVC for your embassy number. Starts with ACC. Once you have that wait a week or so and email the Ghana embassy for your pickup date. Include Pet and Ben birthdays, names, ACC number. They will eventually email you back with a date to pick up packet 3 (which is also packet 4- with interview date).

Love is a gift and not to be earned, therefore one should never hold any regrets for giving love regardless of the outcome...

when chasing a CR-1 visa -

--call to get Consular Casefile Number

--call to get Invoice Identification Number

with these 2 things, you can log in to the payment portal and pay the invoices

--call to give over email addresses of petitioner and beneficiary

when this happens, it pulls the trigger at NVC, they know yer ready to start processing, and ya get the AOS fee bill generated and sent out via email .

That's the first bit of contact, really. Using a telephone helps to speed things along, at NVC. If'n you don't call, usually you'll get auto-selected into Postal Mode at NVC, and that always sucks, as it's 3 months per thing (and there are 3 things)

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

SURE !

Do nothing with a telephone, and the ds-3032 is sent via postal mail to the beneficiary .

then the AOS Fee Bill is sent via postal mail to the petitioner.

so far? 6 months have passed.

at the 9 month mark, NVC sends out the IV Fee Bill to the agent of choice.

We call to be on top of our case and to get our information faster. Instead of like Darnell said postal mode.

At NVC you are a bit in control as the speed of things. If you wait for everything to come to you via NVC it can take months instead of weeks.

here read post #1 and #2 of the NVC filers thread. Most helpful and great people like Darnell and Saylin are there to help with any questions.

Postal mode means sent by regular mail. If you do not call the NVC will not have emails to send items by email. Also should download your forms and complete the packages ahead of time for the fastest route through the NVC. Do not rely on the NVC to send you forms to fill out.

Thanks for great responses .

May I ask on your comment " you can log in to the payment portal"

- Do you know the link to payment portal ??

Likewise, another question ;

- Do all your papers from USCIS / or from NOA2 part get forwarded to NVC ? If so , then I can already fill-up DS2032 and Affidavit of Support documents and put this as part of my I-130 submission ??

I invite you to find the June 2013 NVC Monthly thread, nowish. Review post #6 here for the link.

Most of your questions are in post #1 and post #2.
