I have not moved to USA yet but before my marriage I had lived in the US for 6 years and went to college.

I lived in dorms most of the times and ordered in food almost everyday with friends:) I was thinking the other day and I estimated about 2500 pizzas in 6 years(large).

you alll probably noticed Pizza is the number one fast food and the first choice when you order in food in USA. I am sure many of you already have ordered many pizzas already.

You know hehe...too lazy to cook, but hungry. just dial the numbers and tell them what you want and its at the door in 30 mins:) I had felt this way about 3000 times in 6 years I guess lol

well I know you all have this in your mind I have put on like 100 pounds:) noooo... not even 1pound. Dont think I am too lucky hehe I just did a lot of sports (was in wrestling team at college).

SO what is your number? In how long? how many orders so far? what toppings?

My fave was bufallo chicken pizza mmm

I should have actually included chinese food as well. over the years I noticed people order in chinese as often as pizzas. But I have always been a pizza lover. my whole life count is about 5000 i think hehe

I have to admit, I LOVE PIZZA!!!! And so does my husband. I've been eating pizza at least once a week since I've been back to Brazil....don't know how it will be when I go back to the US. My husband kinda slows me down cuz he knows I'd eat it everyday if I could!! And I would have gained many more pounds if I did!!! Hahahahaha...

So sorry, can't really answer your question....but the old thin crust cheese pizza is still my favorite! :D

:( I don't like American pizza, I spent too much time in Italy and my favourite pizza is rucola-ricotta-parma prosciutto pizza or broccoli-bell-pepper-corn pizza, which are unfortunately not available here! CRY!

But as a subsitute cakes are very good in the USA! And Starbucks is a lot cheaper than in Germany! Frappucinos! :)

And not to forget - Dunkin' Donuts, the best Boston Cream Donuts, yummie! :)

I like American pizza, but sometimes I miss my brazilian pizzas with the very thin crusts and soft toppings like buffalo mozarella, tomatoes and fresh basil leaves.

Since I've been here to PR I've had pizza around 3 times. Sbarro twice adn pizza hut once.

I'll want to have brazilian pizza when I go visit my family though, YUMMMM!!!

I'm the same. After eating pizza in Italy there is no way I'd pay for pizza over here. It looks pretty grim from what I've seen of it anyway. I may be persuaded if I was in the right area of NYC or something, but sorry, there ain't nothin like the real thing.

I wouldn't eat a cake either. Eww they look full of corn syrup and other nasties. The supermarket cakes look really horrendous. Just not my cuppa tea. We drive to Quebec city to get cake.

I much, much prefer the Italian pizzas. The ultra thin bases with light, minimal toppings. *rubs belly*

I agree with Jenn, they are totally different to the American pizzas.

Being a US pizza lover since I havent been to Italy, I did have some of the best pizza in recent memory in Cuzco, Peru. It was a little tiny diner located just off the Plaza de Armas there, great stuff! They make it in a firewood fueled oven. Now I'm hungry!

substance: 2 American pizzas within 12 months, only out of desperate hunger. ;) Haja Doener, are you missing home? :) I prefer the veggie doener with the goat cheese. Haven't seen any doener hut in America yet...

I've never been to Italy so I can't compare. But I think you can find great pizza almost anywhere in the world if you know where to look. Of course, there is pizza and pizza....don't come to me with a greasy nasty chunks everywhere pizza!!

By the way, tonight I am going to an all-you-can-eat pizza place here in Brazil to celebrate a friend's birthday! Yummm!!! The pizzas are all done on special wood ovens ...hmmmmm...I can't wait! :P
