Of course it will, 4th of July is not a Philippine holiday, its only a U.S. holiday so SLEC will be open for business. And I bet the U.K. isn't hot on celebrating it either.

Your stepdaughters are minors, right? age 5-6? Your wife should plan on going on a Tuesday or Wednesday because minors will undergo a TST which requires 3 days to evaluate, results will be read after 48-72 hours. St Lukes will be closed on weekends.. smile.png

Wednesdays are ideal as compared to Mondays it is not so busy..

I emailed St. Lukes and asked them if they were going to be open on July 4. They replied that, yes, they would be open.

I checked their website (weeks ago), it only listed they were closed the 12th... their Independence Day. They do post closed dates on their website.

"Weeks ago"?!?

Thank you for verifying that you didn't have updated information.

Nope I didn't verify anything of the sort... as I clicked the link I provided you weeks ago before I posted today also... but wanted to see you jump all over this again... as you already knew it was open on the 4th of July from the last time you started bantering on this topic.

You checked their website? Really? laughing.gif

That was exactly my advice in the other thread. Remember? You threw a fit about it.

Let's get our facts straight:

1. It wasn't "weeks ago." It was ten days ago.

2. In the other thread, I suggested checking SLEC's website. You're the one who jumped all over it.

This should jog your memory: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/434672-rumors-true-dont-let-it-be/page-2

Nit-Picking about the number of days since that "discussion" because you were out in left field then and aren't doing any better now.

You said you checked the SLEC website and you couldn't find anything stating whether they observe U.S. holidays or not... jeez Your post So 10 days ago I posted a link to the SLEC page that lists ALL the days for which SLEC is closed. Of course the 4th wasn't on there... Because SLEC is in the Philippines and is a Philippine hospital. And here you are again ranting away about nothing once more.

Hmmm the facts. Show me the post where I said DON'T check the SLEC website.... Let's jog your memory - What I actually said

And the reality was and still is SLEC IS OPEN ON THE 4TH OF JULY!
