update - was able to complete my payment smile.png all is good now smile.png received a pay.gov email and another email about case status update....

Super it's up and running! Now for finding a U.S bank account or debit card to pay for it. I just presumed one could pay with a foreign debit card helpsmilie.gif

I need your response good people, I have a friend who just got here(usa) a week ago on a CR1 visa, he called me yesterday telling me that he's been trying to pay the $165 immigrant fee online for some days now, even tried it few hours ago but it keeps giving him error....asides that he said the page is requesting for his Alien number and he told me he doesn't have one. Pls I need your advices on what to tell him to do....God bless you all

You can pay with a foreign bank account. I used my Canadian debit card (visa).

03/23/2022: Application for passport submitted at USPS facility under standard processing.

04/04/2022: Status changed to “The U.S. Department of State has received your application for your passport book on 04/04/2022. We're now reviewing your application and supporting documents...Your application locator number is 51*******.

04/04/2022: Check for passport cashed.

05/03/2022: Status changed to "The U.S. Department of State approved your application for your passport book. We're now printing your passport book and preparing to give it to you. You should receive your passport book on or around 05/09/2022."

05/05/2022: Passport Received.

05/09/2022: SSA Citizenship Status Updated.

05/25/2022: Naturalization Certificate received in mail.

Hi eveybady, i want to ask how can i pay the uscis new Fees for the green card, i already oppened an ELIS account but here in my country we dont use credit cart and i dont have a us bank accout?? Can i give my ELIS account information to somebady that live in USA (my wife) and let her pay with her credit cart?? Any help Will be appreciat

Yes, your wife can pay.

* I-130/CR-1 visa by Direct Consular Filing in London
3rd May 2013 - Married in London

7th May 2013 - I-130 filed
4th June 2013 - NOA2 (approved)
16th July 2013 - Interview (approved)
30th July 2013 - POE San Francisco
29th August 2013 - 2 year green card arrived

1st May 2015 - 90 day RoC window opened
6th May 2015 - I-751 filed (delivered 8th May, cheque cashed 18th May)

Thanks for the reply but i just want to know that if it is normal to pay that fee after i get to USA inchallah, is not going to delay the issuenes of my Green cars after i pay it when i arrive, i heard that uscis deliver the GC usually 2 weeks after u get there but if i pay the fee when i get there how long it takes for them to send it??

To get the green card made you need to pay the fee and enter the US. You can pay the fee after if you want. Sometimes it arrived in 2 weeks. Sometimes it arrives in 4 months. Start counting from the time you do the payment or POE, whichever is last.
