i need some info on this. i asked about the I-134 and what i needed to send to my fiance in the Philippines. as iread through the instructions about this form it says noing about sending tax transcripts. however it does say you need to send in bank statements and proof of deposits and or proof of employment abong with pay stubs. why is it that some people say i need to send in tax transcripts. would bank statements and w-2's be enough???

Your tax transcripts are only required if you are self employed, however many people prefer to send them anyway to be safe. I recommend getting a letter from your employer in addition to your bank statements and w-2s as well as copies of your most recent pay stubs. The tax transcripts are up to you as to weather you would like to provide them.

We were at the interview last Tuesday. I provided the I134, and tax transcripts. That was it. Maybe it was because I was there with my fiance. It's a case by case basis I guess. Better to provide it all then not have enough.

The embassy in Manila, Philippines requires them even if they are not listed as a requirement on the I-134 instructions. They are listed on the Manila embassy instructions. Either tax transcripts from the IRS or your 1040 tax return with W-2s to back them up. You may also be asked for an employer letter stating your job is permanent and a recent paystub indicating your job and pay is current.

Bank statements are only required if you cannot provide proof of current income via paystubs or are using assets in lieu of income.

Yes, that is sufficient. By the way, you can easily order IRS tax transcripts, and they are free, by just filling out this form and sending it in. The transcripts will arrive in your mail in 10 days after they receive it.

The Manila embassy requires your most recent tax return, states so in their instructions letter.

n. EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT. You should be able to demonstrate that you will not become a public charge or be a burden on the U.S. taxpayers for financial support. A completed I-134 Affidavit of Support Form with original signature will be useful to the consular officer to evaluate your petitioner’s ability to be financially responsible for you. You should also submit your petitioner’s most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Employment letters stating salaries and bank statements may be included to substantiate the I-134. Download Form I-134 at http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis.

If your income along meets or exceeds the I-864P 125% guidelines then you don't need to bother with bank statements and such. Only need to sent the documents relating to your employment; tax return, W-2, pay stubs, employment letter.

There is a link in my signature below this post that lists the complete K-1 process for Manila.

Oh, pop down to the Philippine forum and say "Hi", great bunch of folks there.

Do you know if the packet 3 information will sent to me in the USA or my Fiance in Cambodia?

Each Embassy can have a different process. The replies in this thread apply to the process at the U.S. Embassy Manila. You really should start your own thread so you can get accurate answers.
