Did you really apply for the K3?

After waiting 1.5 years you should have had plenty of time to study the steps. Please search and study Ling Chis shortcuts to NVC. Ignore the parts of bar codes.

Also join the thread called NVC june 2013. Most of your questions wil be answered by reading the links on the first post.

Are you truly a cr1 applicant or a F based?

What took so long to get noa2? Did you get a rfe or an interview in your american, city?

Some people get through nvc is less then a month and some take 6 months. Read, be prepared and ger the police certs, the certified birtg, marriage certs ready. Fill out the forms.

May 24, 2011 NOA1

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

PLEASE EDIT YOUR TIMELINE IN YOUR PROFILE SO OTHERS CAN LEARN HOW LONG EACH STEP TAKES IN THIS PROCESS

It now depends entirely on you. How prepared are you with all the papers and how fast you submit everything. Normally it takes 2-3months to get visa interview once your case reaches at NVC stage, given that you submit all the papers ASAP. So read the NVC shortcut suggested above and start working on financial papers, tax returns, w2s, employment letter, PCC, marriage cert, birth cert etc... Good luck.
