Came to US on 01/2009 (F1 status)

Graduated 05/2011 & issued OPT (EAD valid only 06/27/2011 - 06/26/2012)

Married USC wife (12/2011)

USC wife filed i130 on 02/2012

Worked up to 08/16/2012 (past EAD expiration)

Left the country 08/16/2013 (never resigned/took vacation)

Entered US as B1/B2 on 09/03/2012

Continued employment with same job (EAD already expired)

Called USCIS about i130 around 10/2012 - 11/2012

Approval notice sent to us in 12/2012

Sent in i485 on 06/04/2013 (still employed with the same company & w/out EAD)

Electronic receipt notice received on 6/12/13

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

so whats the question. mr rursh, i think u should allow people to be honest with u. this is exactly what the reaction of the uscis would be. it better to be prepared than to be ignorant. best of luck bro. cases like this needs the attention of an EXPERIENCED lawyer

As I'm sure you already know, OP, you don't need a lawyer, you seem to have everything well under control, unless you left something really major out (murder conviction, claim to be a USC). I think you probably meant to post this in the AOS from other (including tourist) visa case status section. Or rather, that's maybe where Penguin should have moved it! Good luck on your journey!

Green card received 05/08/2013
