Hello my friends, I need help from the Algerians/Americans couple.

I just received my NOA2 Approval hard copy so what should I do from now on? I know that I have to wait for 2 weeks to contact NVC to ask about the status and my # but I don’t want to make any mistake regarding what should I send to Hadjer(My Fiancée).

Every consulate is different so that’s why I am asking you for help since you had to go thru the American consulate in ALGIERS. Please advice! I really appreciate your help and advice.

Ghanou.

Thank you and have a great weekend.

Hi Congrats on your NOA2! I am about a month a head of you in the process, I got my NOA2 May 6. From there things have been moving fairly fast. I called NVC about a week after receiving NOA2 and got my case number. From there I tracked it on DHL (go to the embassy forum there are instructions there how to do that) once it was received at the embassy I waited and waited patiently, until I couldn't take it anymore (about 2 weeks with no word from them). I had my fiance in Algiers send an email and he got no response, this made me so mad! I sent an email the next day and it was responded to in 20 minutes with our packet 3. Now we are waiting for his medical (he called both doctors and the soonest appt was 3 weeks from when he called) after that he will make the appointment for the interview. I did send him the affidavit of support (I knew someone who was going to Algiers so I sent it with them). I would look at the embassy page it has literally the exact packet you will receive, and start working on getting everything together, I would also try to make the medical appt as it appears they are about 3 weeks out. Good luck!

Thank you so much, good luck with the rest of the journey. As far the medical you should ask your fiancé to contact the Dr. Sana Driouche & Dr. Mohamed Bouzfour
Al Azhar Clinique
4, Djenane Achabou
Dely-Ibrahim, Alger 16020
Tel: 021 91 98 61
021 91 83 53
056 008 7870

If he has a conection he could get an apointment fast. This clinique is about 5 miles from the embassy.

Best regards.

Unfortunately the embassy only accepts medicals from two doctors in Algiers, their information can be found in the embassy info. That is why it is taking 3 weeks, I would have your fiancee call now to make her appt.
