is it also necessary to carry copies of the tax returns slips(sponser & co sponser's)?huh.png would they ask for it in the interview?

vj terminology to know

Bring a photocopy of everything that you submitted as an original or certified copy. Bring the original or certified copy of everything that you submitted as a photocopy, if they need to see the original.

You have time to request tax transcripts from the IRS. The sponsor should do this and the co-sponsor should do this. Bring the tax transcripts with you to the interview. Also try to have the sponsor's and co-sponsor's latest pay stubs with you at the interview to prove they are still working at their jobs and making what they said. They can be copies. If you can't get pay stubs, a letter from the employer on company stationery saying the person is an employee in good standing and makes X dollars per year is fine.

I sent a full copy of my 2012 tax filing with my I-864 because the IRS transcript was not ready yet. I requested the IRS transcript as soon as it was available and sent a copy to my husband. It turned out that he didn't need it, and he didn't need my pay stubs, though he offered to show them to the immigration official. All they asked him about finances was, "Does she still work at this company?"
