Need your advice:

Hi I am a Filipno who worked in HCMC last 2006~2008.I lost most of the Temporary resident certicate. So I personally went to HCMC and go back to where we Live last time...I was blessed that the owner of the house still retain some record in her book. The owner of the house even go to the distance by going with me to the local ploice station in LI Van Sy Police Station. They dont have a standard form ,so the Police ask me to Write in a peice of paper, in english that I am requesting the police to certify that I lived in that particular area, while He translate it i another paper.Afterwards the Chief of Police signed it.

With this Reisdent certificate, can I aaply now for my Justice Record Check at Hanoi?.If you have any experience ,kindly share and advice.I am based now in Singapore..

Thank you all.

Hi Anh,

Thanks for the reply.

I am a Filipino who worked before at HCMC,and are no longer living there

.It is rather confusing for the American Embassy, ask me to go to Hanoi Ministry of Justice. However Hanoi ask me to produce the Temporary Residence certificate at HCMC duly signed by Local police there.

Once I got the resident certificate(in HCMC),Hanoi advise me to go back to Ministry of Justice for the "Jestice Record Check #1,processing..

Is there any kind soul there who are in similar situation before as I have now? Kindly advise.I spend a lot of oney already going from Hanoi,HCMC,Singapore(where I am based)...

Thanks in advance.
