So nobody here ever defends what Obama does by pointing out something Bush did or has ever implied we are racist if we don't like Obama. You shating me ??? Really

I believe that is directed at me. I've pointed out that many of the folks that have are up in arms about things going on right now with Obama in the White House were quiet as a woman's fart when Bush was doing the exact same thing 8 years ago.

Nature Boy has said that Bush was the most attacked President in recent history. And to some extend I can agree with that statement. But as he used examples of rappers and other entertainers saying disrespectful things about Bush. I didn't see politiicans doing it by using racial connotations to describe Bush. And for all of the Tea Parties claims it's not racist, with 9/11, the debt, and all the chaos running around, you'd think they would have more than enough reason to form and complain about the government. But when did they start? April 2009, exactly 2 months after Obama took over. "While not uniformly so, the Tea Party movement tends to be anti-government, anti-spending, anti-Obama, anti-tax, nationalistic, in favor of strict immigration legislation." How can you be anti-Obama when the man wasn't even in the White House long enough to form a solid opinion of him?

“Hate is too great a burden to bear. It injures the hater more than it injures the hated.” – Coretta Scott King

"Oppressive language does more than represent violence; it is violence; does more than represent the limits of knowledge; it limits knowledge." -Toni Morrison

He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it.

Maybe people are taking a page from the Nobel Peace prize requirements.

By looking at this list, he's done what was required. I think Ghandi should have been on this as well.

I've never hated any president, not even Bush.

Well if you can assume that people who like Obama think that people who DON'T like Obama are racist... surely people can assume things about you, right? I mean, it's only fair...

Huh?

I didn't think it was confusing, but here:

Nature Boy does not like when people make assumptions about how he feels in regards to Bush. As evidenced by the comment I quoted.

Yet Nature Boy likes to make assumptions on how pro-Obama people feel about anti-Obama people.

You get what you give.

Makes sense now. Keep in mind I was educated by union teachers in public schools. It's not my fault if I'm a little slow.

I wasn't trying to be snippy. There have definitely been times when I've written things that made perfect sense to me but not to anyone else.
