If your brother petitions you for an immigrant visa/ so you can get a greencard, it takes about 12 years. He should file asap, as this category may be abolished soon.

I am not sure I understand your question about you and your other brother going to the USA in 2 months to study. Do you have a student visa? If so, there is nothing else you need to do. If no, you must contact the college you want to study at first, and be accepted by them. They will then give you some paperwork, and you apply for a student visa at your local US embassy.

If you want to study in the US, you'll need a student visa, what program is only 2 months? You 'll apply to the school, show you meet the financial obligation, show you do not have immigrant intent, and apply at a consulate.

good luck

Look at the link I provided- it is currently 12 years; of course by the time your priority date comes up, it could be a couple years less or more, but it'll never be 30 days. You can get tourist visas and similar in 30 days, but not immigrant visas.

If you cannot pay the $20 application fee for the college, how will you pay the tuition fees and how will you eat etc? On a student visa, you cannot work.

How did this brother get in the US to study? I think he can better explain the student visa process to you.

Ask the college how you pay. Some options:

- paypal online

- international cashiers check

- check from your brother who lives in the USA already

hi everybody,

my father is a tunisian citizen he studied in the U.S for 11 years with my mom , so my 2 brother and my sister was born there and they are U.S citizen , i have a brother in the U.S studying and i plan with my other brother to go to the U.S after 2 months so the problem is i'm not a U.S citizen and i want to get a student visa the apply for a green card when i arrive to the U.S , i have some question :

1) is it easy to get a student visa since my brothers and sister are a U.S citizen ?

2) what i need to get a student visa ?

3) if i get a student visa and arrive to the U.S , what steps i do to get a green card fast ?

4) how long i can wait for my green card to get ready because some peoples says in a month and other says 10--15years (and it's not logical to wait 10--15years)?

and thanks in advince.
