wow..congrats.. really fast if your local was Chicago, was your file transferred to Chicago local office?

I think their local office is actually St Louis based on the city in the profile, and that makes sense based on trending here http://dashboard.uscis.gov/index.cfm?formtype=4&office=58&charttype=1. I think they meant Chicago lockbox is where they sent the petition initially.

Low volume and high completion rate in St Louis.. much better ratio than the Chicago field office http://dashboard.uscis.gov/index.cfm?formtype=4&office=52&charttype=1

My I-130 application has finally been approved, it took only 81 days from the NOA1 date.

Congrats!! That's awesome news, we need more approval turn-around times like this. I'm a June filer and can't get a handle on when I might expect an NOA2, approvals are all over the place. Let's hope yours is starting a new trend. Good luck with NVC, best wishes for another speedy approval!

Yeah, really we're prepared for 6-8 months to NOA2, but I would be deliriously happy if we skimmed through sooner. Sometimes I look for solid reasons to get my hopes up for something better, but in the end I know better than to get optimistic laughing.gif
