Help

my Fiance and I have gotten our I-129F approved on June 11th and i now have gotten a letter from the Dept of homeland security. in the letter they said they will be sending the information to the Consulate in Manila. i thought it had to go to the Visa service center first. Also what is a MNL # and on the USCIS site the instructions said when i got this letter it would have instructions on what i needed to do and what she needed to do. there is no information on anyof this. also does she need to go to embessy for interview and they send her for the medical or can she just go in for the medical then set up her interview at the embessy.

All cases are sent to the NVC and will be assigned a case number and sent to the consulate from there. MNL# is your case number. MNL stands for Manila. You can call the NVC and get your MNL#, but I would wait at least a week before calling. Here are the instructions for your consulate, which can be found on the Manila Embassy website> http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/19452/public/Revised%20K1%20Instruction_rtf2_rtf2_001.pdf

What do they need clarification from DoS for? All NOA2 I-129F approvals notices are worded that way, but they all go through the NVC on the way to the appropriate consulate.,

USC will receive a letter from the National Visa Center at least 15 days after Noa 2...

...the letter from NVc will have your ins receipt number (of your Noa 1) then your case number (most important) and that the case will be processed in Manila, us embassy...though u can call NVC one week after ur NOa 2 to get ur case number, be prepared to have ur Noa 1 or 2 on hand cause NVC will ask info from ur Noa 1 or 2 .

...to add more, I the beneficiary received the us embassy Manila letter one month after the date of the NVC letter received by my fiancé...hope this can help you.

Order on line with IRS your 2010, 2011 and 2012 tax trancripts, they are free and you will receive the tax transcripts within 10 days...you need to send these with your l-134 ...better to include your son in -134 as ur dependent...you also need cert of employment if ur employed sample you can find here in the site, new letter of intent (USC and beneficiary should make one), pays lips for the past 6 months before the interview.

My fiancé sent me the 1-129f replica, 6 months payslips before the interview, 3 years tax transcripts, 2011 w2 and 2011 and 2012 1040 Noa 1 and 2, NVC letter, signed and dated letter of intent, cert of employment signed by the boss, bank statements (optional)...in one package.

He sent it thru usps, about 90 dollars, they have global partnership with fed ex...it arrived in my hometown as guaranteed which is at least 7 days...usps cost less by 100 to 150 US dollars...

Ps...he will scan and email to me his may June payslips, and 2012 tax transcripts end of June.

ok i will check on these things. however i do not understand some of the short hands - like NOA? NVC? Cert of employment is as proof? and do i need to send in just my W-2's for the last 3 years will that be good enough? or do i get all the information from the IRS for 2010-2013 tax trancripts? i have the pay slips for the last 6 months. my cert letter is from the HR dept. of the company i work for. all it says is my job title and how long i have been there plus i am a perm. but there might be a hickup with that. my company merged with another company and they took the other companys name. so it will show a differant company name on there than the one i used when i sent it in to the USCIS office. will tis be and trouble? also she has a copy of all the stuff i sent in to the USCIS Office. i brought it to her kust three weeks ago. i went and spent 2 weeks there with her .which is the third time in the last 18 months. i went in april of 2012 and in september and then again in May of 2013. also thank you so much for you help it does mean alot to me that they do have wonderful people out there in the world who care about people they do not know . also today is my birthday .. lol ...42 ..i wish it would 24 ..lol .anyway i can scan these things and email them or i need to mail them to her ? and once again thank you very much

Hello..Noa is notice of action or form I-797...NVC is National visa center.

To play safe I suggest you order online 2010, 2012 and 2012 tax transcripts with IRS and send ur 3 years w2.

As for the Change of name of ur company...either u can ask from the hr dept or ur supervisor a letter about the merger of the 2 companies and ur company having a new name...or u can send a memo or newspaper ads announcing the merger of the 2 companies ...in case us consul will question ur fiancée about the new name of the company and why it is different with the company of ur employment when u filed the I-129f.

With regards to ur cert of employment ...ur 2012 income should be included also.

Mail the tax transcripts and cert of employment if there is still time before ur fiancée interview.

happy birthday to you...my help is my gift to you...lol...

Ur welcome and u have a nice weekend...good luck.

I suggest you call DHS for clarification.

She needs to go to the medical first before going to the interview. At least a week before the interview the medical should be done. Your MNL will come from NVC. It should be like MNL1234567890 and this is your case number

Absolutely no reason to be calling DHS...

As stated by others (some) - all petitions are forwarded to NVC from there they are assigned the embassy case number after which the packet is sent to the respective embassy.

As for the rest, CLICK the link in my signature below this post that will take you to the complete K-1 process.

Lastly pop down to the Philippine forum and say "Hi"... you are now at the rock 'n' rock stage of this process!!

Congrats!!
