hi folks. just want to share again my share for my cfo experience , especially for those who will be having their cfo soon.I and my friend who is also a K1 beneficiary decided to go to cfo citigold quirino at 4:15 am because of the limited slots. and yes there were already people there. some came at 3am, some as early as 1:30 am( really?)..well, they came from province. When we arrived there, no one is really falling in line. Some guys will tell you, you are next to him if you are both under US.But they know who arrived first, so all of you there will organize your own group. At around 6 am., the vendor called our attention. She advised all the visa holder under fiance and spousal to fall in line in the ramp. so i advised , fall in line in ramp when you arrived. At around 7 am, they opened the door for us(finally!). the receptionist asked for 2 valid ids, passport, visa, registration form you printed on their website and have all these photocopied.( fill out the registration form before hand so to save time).after that, we were asked to stay for a while in the lobby and waited for the instruction of the guard.

at around 7:30 am, the guard instructed us to go to 3rdflr.the receptionist there will give you another form to fill out( almost the same with the registration form with just few additional questions).Give this form to the receptionist after you finished filling it out.She will then ask for your original passport if you have the visa, and will take a photo of you in the computer. Then sit and wait again.

We waited until around 8:30 am the counselor started calling names for one on one interview. i could say it is longer than the US embassy interview. When it was my turn, she asked me about myself like when was the last time i worked.for my fiance, she asked about his course in college, the date when he migrated.for our relationship, she asked about our lovestory, ( the where, when , how did you meet question) she asked also if i have relatives in US. and finally, she asked for our pictures. i brought around 10 and she selected 5 pictures and put it in her file. she wont return them, so make extra copy for you if they have sentimental value. And also, if you are divorced, dont forget your annulment paper, she will read it.

at 9 am, the seminar started with videoclips about saving money and investment. Then it was followed by a brainstorming activity about marriage.then videoclips about US, about dos and donts when travelling to US, and the last part was about adjustment of status.

if you satisfy the interviewer during the interview like giving all her requirements, you will be asked to go to 1st flr and pay 400php. wait for your name to be called and they will give you your certificate and sticker .make sure to double check the spelling of your name, the stamp is for USA. check also the signatures, date of issue and the dry seal.

we finished at around 11:30 am,just in time for lunch. So better be early, if you want to be interviewed early. goodluck everyone:)
