K-1s STUCK @ NVC for AP Part II

We were told they didn't know where our case was, about 1 week after they told us we were in AP. It was there the whole time, just that the people who answer the phones really don't know very much, and are not able to see very much on their computer screens.. We asked to speak to a Supervisor after a couple of weeks, and she was the one that told us that, our case was always right there. So, keep calling them, every couple of days, and ask. You have been there almost three weeks, so I think they will soon tell you it is on the way to your consulate. Your status will change to In Transit.

Hello cdneh.. My fiancé called the Nvc and they said they have our papers but still ap and no time frame.. It's been a month now.. papers still at Nvc.. Does your status in ceac changed when u found out they sent your files in the embassy? Thanks

I can't answer that Gemspace. I don't recall having access to CEAC back then. I do know the only way we found out the paperwork was sent was by calling them.

If you Fiance hasn't spoken to a Tier 2 person at NVC, I would suggest he tries that.

he tries to asked to talk to a supervisor everytime he called but they keep saying no available for now.. just wondering if they will update my case online cause its been like that since april as i got my case number april this year ..it says at nvc in ceac for 6 months...and i heard case number is only good for 6 months..

all, while I am quite excited to learn our case was received at the NVC I was told it is undergoing AP. The officer was VERY nice and she said that it just basically means I am undergoing routine processing. Is this valid?

sorry to hear that.. we are ap too for a month now.. still waiting for them to send it to my consulate.. my fiance just called them today and nvc people said its still review and it will take 30-60 days.. hope they will send it next week cause we already passed the 30 days.

lets hope yours wont take that long though.. seems most got ap waited for about 3 weeks only or less.. just check your case status online ..

what could be the cause of it? The only thing I can think of is I got my first ticket in August in my entire life lol.. could that be something that is 'new' that popped up?

the officer was really nice and I appreciated that. She said basically it means that they are going through routine processing and they will notify me once complete.

so I tried to check my status with the NVC and a pop up window came up and said

is this normal?

yes thats normal.. mine also said the same.. meaning your papers is still at nvc..when it says in transit thats the time your papers in on the way to the consulate

hello please help me understand this and what nvc mean with this.. my fiance called nvc today and they said our case is not under ap anymore but they didnt see its moved forward..its in limbo.. what does that mean ??

Give them until Monday, and have him call them again.
